The Center For Primary Care is happy to welcome family physician Meenu G. Singhal, MD, back to her hometown and to our CPC-Evans medical staff.
Dr. Singhal graduated from Lakeside High School in Evans and of the University of Georgia Honors Program, where she earned a BS degree in Microbiology. She returned to Augusta for her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia, where she met and worked with many physicians now on the CPC medical staff, including Dr. Paul Fischer, Dr. Julie Hendrich, Dr. Jerry Lambert and Dr. David Jester. At that time, she began seeing Dr. Fischer as her primary care physician. Seeing how much he loved what he did and the variety in his patient care really convinced me that I should choose family medicine, she says.
After graduating MCG in 2003, Dr. Singhal moved to Savannah for her family medicine internship and residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. For a year afterward, she practiced family medicine in Atlanta, until she and her family – husband, Sanjeev, and children Sagar and Diya decided to make their home in Augusta so that Dr. Singhal could join the medical staff of the Center For Primary Care. CPC is exactly the type of setting I always wanted for my practice.
Dr. Singhal enjoys the full spectrum of what family practice has to offer, but she has a special interest in womens and childrens healthcare. She began seeing patients at CPC-Evans on August 1. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Singhal, call (706) 650-7563.
