Physician Profile:
Dr. Randall K. Colvin, M.D. of CPC-Crossroads
Dr. Randy Colvin begins seeing patients at CPC-Crossroads on October 1 as CPCs 21st physician
Dr. Colvin was born in Oklahoma but has spent most of his life in Georgia. He received a BS in Biology from Georgia Southern University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, along with fellow graduates Drs. Denise and Phillip Kennedy of CPC-Central.
After completing his residency in Florence, South Carolina, Dr. Colvin settled in Seneca, SC, to practice family medicine. In addition to seeing patients at his own practice in Seneca, he also served as both medical director of a Seneca nursing care facility and head of the Family Medicine Department at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Having just relocated to the Evans area, Dr. Colvin is excited about joining the staff of CPC-Crossroads to serve our growing community. I have spent the last four years in solo practice in South Carolina, so I am looking forward to having other physicians to work with and share ideas with. CPC is the ideal model for a family practice today and, despite its size, it has been able to maintain the sense of being a part of a family. Dr. Colvin cares for patients of all ages but has a special interest in geriatric medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Colvin and his wife Shannon, an elementary school art teacher, have two children, Maggie, 11, and Bryce, 9. He is a huge fan of college athletics and when not following Georgia Southern football season, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family.
