Dr. Rebecca Talley, graduated from Bowman Gray School
of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and completed a
residency in Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh
Medical Center, St. Margaret in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She has a special interest in women’s  health and dermatology.

Dr. Robert Clark, a graduate of the
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine,
completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph
Hospital in Philadelphia. He has a special interest in
preventive health and holistic medicine. Contact Dr. Clark at

Dr. Paul Fischer graduated from the University of
Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his
residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Fischer was Professor of Family Medicine at the
Medical College of Georgia until 1993 when he founded
Center for Primary Care (CPC).

Dr. James Mobley graduated from the Medical University
of South Carolina, Charleston, and completed a Family
Practice residency at Madigan Army Medical Center,
Tacoma, Washington.  Dr. Mobley has practiced in the
Augusta community since 1980.

Dr. Tracy Barefield graduated from the Medical College
of Georgia, where she completed  her residency in Family
Medicine. She also has a master’s degree in Dietetics/Nutrition and
a special interest in women’s health.

Dr. Riaz Rassekh graduated from Technology University
of Santiago School of Medicine and completed his
residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College
of Georgia.  He has a special interest in treating
chronic disorders.

School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine
at the Medical College of Georgia. He practiced in Fayetteville
N.C. before returning to Augusta. Contact Dr. Scott at

Dr. Priya Deshpande completed her family practice
residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical
Center in 1995. Following her residency, she was an
assistant professor of Family Medicine at the University
of Massachusetts. She practiced in Massachusetts
and New York before coming to CPC.

Dr. Jay Tomeo graduated from the Loyola Medical School
in Illinois  He completed his residency in Family Medicine
at the Family Practice Center MacNeal Hospital in Illinois.
He has a special interest in children with special needs.

completed both Medical School and his
Family Medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia
He strongly believes in preventive medicine and encourages
patients to take an active role in their health care.

Dr. Denise Kennedy graduated from the Medical College
of Georgia, where she also completed her residency in Family
Medicine. She enjoys providing care to patients of all ages, and has
a special interest in women’s health care.  She and her husband,
Dr. Phillip Kennedy, are happy to be practicing medicine
together in their hometown.
