Dr. Julia E. Hendrich

July 1, 2006 marked the arrival of Dr. Julia Hendrich to the Center for Primary Care in Evans. She will become the 19th family physician to join the growing CPC family.

Dr. Hendrich was raised in North Augusta , South Carolina , and received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University . She then moved to Augusta , Georgia , where she attended medical school and completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia.

In the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College , Dr. Hendrich has been actively involved in teaching and advising medical students while also providing quality care for her patients. She has been honored for both of these roles with awards for outstanding teaching as well as repeat selection to Best Doctors in America.  Dr. Hendrich is excited about joining the medical staff of CPC-Evans. I am looking forward to continuing the practice of family medicine with a great group of professionals and I get to be a little closer to home, she explains.  While enjoying every aspect of family medicine, Dr. Hendrich has special interest in pediatrics and womens health and also hopes to raise patient awareness of  the power of preventative medicine.

Dr. Hendrich and her family, husband Mark Meeks, and sons Connor, 14, Luke, 13, and Mark, Jr., 25, live in the Evans area with their dog, Baloo, and three pygmy goats, Apollo, Goliath, and Rosie. With both Connor and Luke attending Greenbrier schools, Dr. Hendrich has become a big Wolfpack fan. In addition to cheering on the new state baseball champs, she enjoys participating in many sports, including tennis, golf, and skiing.

CPC is excited to have Dr. Hendrich as our newest physician, and we look forward to her seeing patients at our Evans office.
