Physician Profile:
Timothy McKenzie, MD of CPC-Crossroads

The physicians and staff of CPC are pleased to
welcome Dr. Timothy W. McKenzie to CPC-Crossroads. Joining Drs. Clark,
Talley, and Colvin, Dr. McKenzie began seeing patients at the Crossroads
office in September of 2009.
A native of the Augusta area, Dr. McKenzie is a graduate of Westside High
School and Augusta College. He received his medical education at MCG,
followed by his family practice residency at The Medical Center in Columbus,
Ga.
Dr. McKenzie has been practicing medicine in Georgia for 20 years, the most
recent seven of which were in Grovetown, where he had a very active practice
and cared for many families in the community who continue to see him at his
new practice location.
“Joining CPC has given me an opportunity to serve my patients better through
greater access and convenience. It's easier for patients to get an
appointment because of the weekend and evening hours, and the availability
of on-site diagnostic testing is an added convenience," Dr. McKenzie says.
“I also enjoy the support and camaraderie of being in practice with CPC's
other family physicians.”
Dr. McKenzie is continuing to provide the same high quality of care to the
patients of his former practice but he also is accepting new patients of all
ages.
Dr. McKenzie and his wife, Karen, live in Augusta, and have three daughters,
Morgan, Carrie and Cassie.
